The service

Video Translator (“the service”) is provided by TechCreative Lab LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. It uses AI to turn the speech in videos you upload into text, translates it, and returns the video with subtitles plus subtitle files. The service is available at https://videotranslator.techcreativelab.com.

Your account

You must be at least 16 and give accurate details. You are responsible for what happens under your login; keep it private and tell us at once if it is compromised. One person may hold one free account.

Plans, minutes and payment

• Each plan includes a number of video minutes per month and a maximum length per video. A video’s minutes are rounded up to the next whole minute. Plan minutes reset at the start of each billing period and unused plan minutes do not carry over.
• Credit packs add minutes that never expire and are used after plan minutes.
• Paid plans renew automatically every month or year until cancelled. Prices are shown in US dollars on the pricing page; taxes may be added where the law requires.
• Payment is handled by Stripe. You can change or cancel a plan at any time from the billing page; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
• Minutes are reserved when a translation starts and returned automatically if it fails. Refunds follow the refund policy.

Your content

You keep every right to the videos you upload and to the subtitles we produce from them. You give us only the permission needed to process them for you: to store them, turn the speech into text, translate it, add the subtitles and return them. You confirm you have the right to use the content you upload. We do not use your content to train models and we do not look at it unless you ask for support on a specific video.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service to:

• process content you have no right to, or that is unlawful, defamatory or abusive;
• upload malware or try to break, probe or overload the service;
• resell the service or share one account between several people;
• circumvent limits, bot protection or billing.

We may suspend or close accounts that do, and refuse content we are not able to process.

Quality and availability

The text and translations are produced by AI and can contain mistakes, particularly with names, specialist words and people talking over each other. The review step lets you correct subtitles before your video is made. We aim for high availability but do not promise uninterrupted service; planned maintenance is announced in advance when possible.

Data and deletion

Uploaded videos are deleted after the time your plan allows, and the sound we take from them as soon as the AI has read the speech. You can delete any video or your whole account at any time. The privacy policy explains the details.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including consumers’ statutory rights in their country of residence.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email at least 14 days before they apply, and continuing to use the service after that date means you accept them. You may close your account at any time. We may close accounts that break these terms, with a refund of unused prepaid time unless the breach was serious.
